• Why Have a Spiritual Teacher ? •

The mystical journey is a well laid path, clearly marked, consistent and clear. In reality, there is very little that is mysterious in the spiritual world. It is governed by laws, principles, and patterns much like the physical world. Once one has become fluent in the reality of the spiritual world, all things become simple, profound and whole. All the great philosophies become self-evident and easily understood. When we have uncovered the reality of our own perfection, our own God Being, we find ourselves in deep communication with the Divine. We become more and more like the one we love, our Creator. This state is innate to us; it is our true nature and is totally simple and infinitely complex. Essentially, we have no problems, no concerns, and no illness; but we have lost the language of Love. We have forgotten how to see, feel, and hear God. We have become heavily laden with darkness, fear, and misunderstanding and have forgotten how to live in the perfection of our own God-nature. We have become invested in the mis-thinking of the world and we can no longer find our way back to our true nature without the direction of one who has walked from the unreal world to the Real world. This is one is called a Teacher.

There are many people who carry pieces of the ultimate truth. There are many guides, many helpers, many who have experienced tastes of the ultimate reality of God. There are very few Teachers. A real spiritual Teacher is one who has been taught the Way, who has been led along the Way, and who has been empowered to lead others along the Way. They have the tools to bring a determined and open student through all the steps of the path into union with the God-being within their own being. Working with a real spiritual Teacher is a privilege few seek and even fewer have the opportunity to experience.
