In the Order of Christ Sophia we are privileged to be led by two Master Teachers, Father Peter Bowes and Mother Clare Watts. Father Peter and Mother Clare have taught, trained, and empowered nearly 30 Priests. These Priests have been brought through years of intensive training, purifying, healing, and developing spiritually and have received all three mystical initiations. They have shown through their personal transformation and dedication to service that they are prepared to bring students along the mystical path. They have been empowered to teach classes, administer all seven sacraments, counsel and teach individual students, and bring prepared students through the first two initiations. These Priests function as the primary teachers at all the Centers of Light.

Working directly with an authentic spiritual teacher is a demanding and challenging process. It requires that the student be willing and able to question their attachments to the world, their ideas, their thoughts, and their identity. Students are required to work diligently at spiritual exercises, healing work, and to master their material world. The level of challenge is met with the rewards of intensified and accelerated spiritual development. However, it is a level of training that is not right for most people and is best for those who are deeply committed to their spiritual development and willing to exert a great deal of effort and focus toward that goal. For this reason, the Centers of Light have means for people at every level to grow and develop their spiritual life and personal healing. Classes are taught at several levels and services are open to anyone who would like to receive the tremendous blessing of communion. Students at all levels will receive the great benefit of contact with Priests and Teachers and have abundant opportunities to receive powerful and life changing teachings.
